Job summary

The Wooten Company is seeking a Recruitment & HR Specialist to join our HR Team. This role focuses on building relationships, identifying great talent, and delivering an exceptional candidate and employee experience.

While recruiting is the primary focus, you will gain experience across multiple HR functions and grow into a well-rounded HR professional. You will partner with the HR Manager, collaborate with managers across the company, and support onboarding, benefits, and HR projects.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within the engineering, architecture, consulting, or AEC industry.
• Experience recruiting for technical or STEM-related positions is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake, or ZipRecruiter is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting & Talent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers and the HR Manager to identify hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Recruiting: Create and post engaging job advertisements on multiple platforms and source candidates.
• Screening: Review resumes, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
• Candidate experience: Maintain communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience and extend offers when appropriate.
• Onboarding & HR support: Coordinate onboarding activities and assist with HR initiatives and programs.
