Job summary

IAHD in Westchester County, NY, is seeking an Experienced Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment across clinical, direct support, and administrative roles. You will partner with hiring managers, craft compelling postings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and guide offers and onboarding.

This role focuses on developing a modernized recruitment strategy, utilizing Paycom ATS, building pipelines, and reporting time-to-fill metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of related experience; bachelor’s with 2 years; or master’s with 1 year.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Knowledge of government HR regulations or similar regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment: intake, posting, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding.

What You’ll Do:

Full-Cycle Recruitment

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: intake with hiring managers, job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, and onboarding.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline across clinical, direct support, and administrative roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and craft accurate, compelling job postings.
• Conduct initial phone screens, behavioral interviews, and coordinate Manager interview logistics.
• Track and report on recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer-acceptance rate) to inform ongoing strategy.

Recruitment Strategy Development

• Contribute to the design of a new, modernized recruitment strategy for IAHD, including sourcing channels, employer branding, and candidate experience.
• Enhance utilization of Paycom applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Research and recommend best practices in recruitment for the intellectual/developmental disability services sector and comparable industries.
• Develop standardized recruitment workflows, templates, and interview guides to improve consistency and reduce time-to-fill.

Onboarding

• Own the new hire onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements (background checks, credentialing, compliance documentation) in partnership with relevant departments.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure consistent and welcoming onboarding experience across all roles and locations.
• Gather onboarding feedback and continuously improve the process.

Experience & Skills

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and working knowledge of record-keeping.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
• Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable and insured vehicle required
• Knowledge of government regulations & legal requirements pertaining to Human Resources or similar regulatory environment
• Ability to utilize and learn new technology learn new technology platforms
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Location:Westchester County, will be required to visit all IAHD as necessary

Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
