Job summary

Pacific Quest in Hawaii is seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage all stages of the recruitment process across departments and levels. You will source, screen, interview, and coordinate offers while collaborating with hiring managers to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all stages of the recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
  • Ensure timely and effective hiring across all departments and levels.
  • Conduct initial interviews and partner with hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates and long-term talent pipelines.
  • Identify and leverage effective recruiting channels, including local, national, and niche platforms.
  • Partner with managers to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Provide support and input on interview practices, candidate evaluation, and hiring decisions.
  • Support the development of interview guides, rubrics, and consistent hiring practices.
  • Ensure a responsive, professional, and engaging candidate experience.
  • Represent Pacific Quest authentically, communicating its mission, culture, and expectations clearly.
  • Support the development and improvement of job postings and recruitment messaging.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting within the applicant tracking system.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and update recruitment processes, tools, and documentation.
  • Conduct periodic audits of sourcing channels, job postings, and hiring workflows.
  • Coordinate and evaluate employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to support onboarding processes and timelines.
  • Provide training and guidance to managers on recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Assist with employee appreciation events and celebrations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
