United Bank in Griffin, GA is seeking an Employment Manager to lead the Bank’s talent acquisition, onboarding, employee retention, and employee relations initiatives. You will partner with department leaders to attract qualified candidates, define staffing needs, and promote consistent employment practices in line with regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive Human Resources experience, with emphasis on full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Professional certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR) or willingness to pursue within a set timeframe.
• HR experience in banking/financial services preferred.
• Knowledge of federal/state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to guide employees and managers.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and evaluate employment strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with leaders to assess staffing needs and develop recruitment plans.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment: postings, sourcing, interviewing, background checks, offers, placement.
• Develop candidate sourcing strategies and strengthen talent pipeline.
• Advise on candidate qualifications, compensation recommendations, and fair employment practices.
• Oversee onboarding, background checks, training, and new-hire documentation.
• Improve employee engagement, retention, and internal mobility; conduct stay/exit interviews.
• Provide guidance on employment policies, performance management, and employee relations.
• Assist with complaints, investigations, transfers, promotions, and separations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely HR reporting.
