Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead strategy, planning and execution across faculty and staff recruitment. The role oversees the TA department, partners with campus leadership, and guides a scalable talent function including budget and technology decisions.

The position requires travel to campuses, recruiting events, and professional networking. Strong leadership, KPI management, and stakeholder collaboration are essential to align with the university's goals

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of leadership experience in talent acquisition, preferably in higher education or healthcare.
• 10-15 years of general talent acquisition experience.
• Strong knowledge of recruiting market trends, technology, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage KPIs, and drive process improvements.
• Experience building or scaling a TA function, including team structure, technology, and budget ownership.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• UKG experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans with HR leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee clinical adjunct faculty recruitment and workforce planning across campuses.
• Lead TA department, define roles, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Oversee internal hiring processes, vendor management, and TA budget.
• Collaborate with campus leadership and program teams on workforce plans and priorities.
• Travel to campus visits and events as needed.
