Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of recruitment across faculty and staff, including clinical adjunct faculty recruitment for student placements.

Travel is required for campus visits, recruiting events, and university-related travel. The role oversees the TA department, partners with stakeholders, and aligns recruitment with the university's goals and values.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of leadership experience in talent acquisition.
• 10-15 years of general talent acquisition experience.
• Knowledge of recruiting market trends and best practices.
• Ability to develop strategic plans, manage KPIs, and drive improvements.
• Experience building or scaling a TA function, including budget ownership.
• UKG experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans with HR leadership and stakeholders.
• Champion recruitment best practices, market analyses, and candidate experience improvements.
• Define and monitor KPIs for the TA department and report progress.
• Promote employer brand with marketing/communications to enhance EVP.
• Plan workforce needs and create pipelines for current and future hires.
• Oversee CAF workforce planning, market visibility, and rotations.
