Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC is seeking an HR/Talent Acquisition Coordinator to drive our hiring pipeline, manage candidate experience, and support recruitment activities across offices. You will coordinate interviews, collisions with screening and onboarding steps, and maintain accurate ATS records to streamline hiring.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and knowledge of California employment practices, with opportunities to build community relationships and participate in hiring

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent).
• 0–3 years of experience in recruiting or HR.
• Working knowledge of California employment laws and hiring practices.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting and high-volume hiring preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with HRIS/ATS systems and strong computer skills (Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet).
• Previous experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling high-volume phone screens, video calls, and on-site interviews.
• Serve as a point of contact for candidates with prompt communications.
• Review applications and maintain accurate updates in the ATS (e.g., SAP or similar).
• Prepare and extend offer letters to selected candidates.
• Coordinate pre-employment activities including background checks, drug screens, and physicals.
• Support onboarding and new hire processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and colleges.
• Represent the company at job fairs and recruiting events as needed.
• Manage multiple requisitions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
