Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking an energetic Tag & Title Coordinator to handle driver’s license and vehicle registration processes at our Rockville, MD location. You will guide customers through state regulations and lead a team of title clerks to ensure accurate submissions while supporting cross-sell opportunities for AAA products.

This role requires prior title work or MV-title system knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service experience, ideally in a lead role, with a focus on accuracy and results.
• Notary Public designation or ability to obtain within six months.
• Knowledge of Motor Vehicle Title system and/or tag and title work preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication; proficient computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Satisfactory pre-employment screenings including background checks.

Responsibilities

• Process driver’s license and vehicle registration applications.
• Answer inquiries pertaining to state regulations on license, title, and registration.
• Lead and mentor title clerks and oversee title processes for accuracy.
• Assemble and prepare applications for submission to state authorities and meet submission schedules.
• Manage and research rejected applications and discrepancies; resolve issues promptly.
• Cross-sell AAA products such as memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
• Answer overflow calls for Roadside Assistance during peak times; ensure timely service.
• Serve as backup in Cashiering and IDEMIA services if applicable.
