Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Rockville, MD is seeking a dedicated Tag & Title Coordinator to join our retail team. You will process driver’s license and vehicle registration applications and advise customers on state regulations.

This full-time position offers an hourly base range of $20.97–$26.83, an incentive pay option, a 37.5 hour work week, and benefits including PTO, 401(k) match, and AAA membership.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and customer service, preferably in a lead role with accuracy and results.
• Knowledge of Motor Vehicle Title system and/or tag and title work preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging customers and promoting AAA memberships.
• Proficient with multiple websites and programs for multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Notary Public designation or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Process driver’s license and vehicle registration applications.
• Provide guidance on state regulations for titling and registration.
• Lead and mentor title clerks and ensure accurate title processing.
• Assemble and submit applications to state agencies on schedule.
• Document and resolve rejected applications and errors promptly.
• Upsell AAA products including memberships, cards, and insurance referrals.
• Answer overflow Roadside Assistance calls during peak times.
