Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our King George, VA team, supporting TTWCS software testing across configurations including surface and subsurface environments.

The role requires on-site presence at our King George and Dahlgren customer sites and an Active Secret Clearance. Responsibilities include designing and executing test plans, analyzing results, and coordinating with government personnel and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field or military operational experience as TTWCS Operator/Maintenance Technician.
• Active Secret Clearance is required for this position and US Citizenship is required to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in various configurations and across multiple builds in a lab setting.
• Document pertinent information in lab logs.
• Modify and troubleshoot lab hardware, equipment, simulators, and network configurations in a dynamic environment.
• Perform data analysis of test output and develop data extraction/reduction elements for verification.
• Document system problems via change requests (CRs) and problem reports (PRs).
• Verify software fixes for CR/PR resolutions.
• Develop and modify test procedures to verify requirements and functionality.
• Conduct peer reviews of test procedures and maintain Test Verification Matrices (TVMs).
• Generate test plans and test reports.
• Communicate testing event summaries, defend data analysis, and present at technical reviews.
