Job summary

Kägwerks is seeking a Business Development Manager, Tactical Edge to drive demand generation and opportunities across U.S. DoD and federal customers.

You will engage operators, tactical leaders, and program offices to shape requirements, secure unit-level purchases, and create pathways to larger programs. You will manage a target $5M quota, build a funded pipeline, and collaborate with primes, integrators, and partners while traveling 30-50%.

Qualifications

• Experience in defense business development, sales, capture, or related roles.
• Proven ability to move customer interest into funded opportunities.
• Strong communication, CRM and forecast discipline.

Responsibilities

• Identify mission gaps and translate field demand into customer requirements.
• Develop qualified pipeline with defined opportunities and next steps.
• Coordinate demonstrations, exercises, and field evaluations with customers.
• Maintain Salesforce data including opportunity values and close dates.
• Own engagement plans across tactical accounts and coordinate across the BD team.
• Partner with primes, integrators, and channel partners.
• Translate demand into capture-ready briefs and funding pathways.
