Job summary

Edge Case Research, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Director of Strategic Growth – Defense Services to lead growth, capture, and market expansion across DoW missions, safety engineering, and digital engineering.

You will translate technical credibility into sustained Army opportunities. The role requires building relationships with DoD decision-makers, guiding capture pipelines, and shaping requirements early to position Edge Case as a trusted advisor delivering differentiated advisory

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain Secret level security clearance.
• 12-15+ years of federal business development, capture, or DoD/DoW leadership.
• 3+ years building high-impact BD strategies, roadmaps, and pipelines.
• Experience collaborating with executives on resource prioritization & go/no-go decisions.
• Portfolio development for government services and SETA/A&A work.
• Authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorship if required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies for Department of War (DoW).
• Identify and shape new DoW opportunities aligned to Edge Case capabilities.
• Build account plans, relationship maps, and opportunity strategies.
• Shape proposals and collaborate with partners to improve outcomes.
• Move Edge Case left of RFI/RFP with early shaping and competitive insights.
• Translate market data into actionable capture plans and growth objectives.
