Duchess is seeking a Shift Manager to lead shifts in a Taco Bell franchise context, ensuring top customer service and smooth restaurant operations.

Responsibilities include guiding team members, managing cash controls, inventory, and food safety, while maintaining a positive, proactive work environment. Candidates must meet basic eligibility tests and be able to perform essential restaurant duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to oversee and manage subordinate employees and provide direction.
• Able to perform basic cleaning tasks in the restaurant.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs. and stoop for 90% of shift time.

Responsibilities

• Support the RGM by running great shifts in a self-sufficient manner.
• Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems; seek help when appropriate.
• Ensure customer needs are the highest priority and maintain positive relations.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining service quality.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, and holding times.
• Assist in labor management and cash controls as needed.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with RGM to achieve resolution.

Job Requirements and Essential Functions:

• PERSONALLY, DEMONSTRATE THE CUSTOMER NEEDS ARE THE HIGHEST PRIORITY.
• ENSURE FOOD SAFETY, QUALITY AND ACCURACY OF ORDERS.
• RESOLVE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS QUICKLY WHILE MAINTAINING POSITIVE CUSTOMER RELATIONS.
• DEMONSTRATES A POSITIVE AND ENTHUSIASTIC ATTITUDE WITH CO-WORKERS.
• TAKES ACTION WITHOUT BEING TOLD, GOES BEYOND WHAT IS SIMPLY REQUIRED AND MAINTAINS A HIGH ACTIVITY LEVEL.
• HANDLE CONFLICTS CONSTRUCTIVELY AND WORKS WITH RGM TO ACHIEVE RESOLUTION

• OVERSEE PROPER PRODUCT PREPARATION, ROTATION, PORTIONING, COOKING AND HOLDING TIMES.
• PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS REQUIRED BY MANAGER
• MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD.
• MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK CRITERIA AND DRUG TEST.
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
• ABLE TO OVERSEE AND MANAGE SUBORDINATE EMPLOYEES AND PROVIDE DIRECTION.
• ABLE TO perform basis cleaning tasks in THE RESTAURANT.
• ABLE TO TOLERATE STANDING, WALKING, LIFTING UP TO 50 LBS. AND STOOPING DURING 90% OF SHIFT TIME.
