Job summary

Duchess, a franchisee of Taco Bell, is hiring for a Shift Manager to lead great shifts and support the RGM with daily operations.

You will ensure food safety, quality, and timely service while coaching team members and maintaining inventory and labor control.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to oversee and manage subordinate employees.
• Ability to perform basic cleaning tasks in the restaurant.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs for most of shift.

Responsibilities

• Support the RGM by running great shifts in a self-sufficient manner.
• Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems; seek help from others when appropriate.
• Maintain positive customer relations while resolving complaints.
• Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers.
• Take action without being told and maintain high activity level.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with RGM to achieve resolution.
• Assist P&L management by following cash control procedures, maintaining inventory and managing labor.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking and holding times.
• Perform other duties as required by manager.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

Job Requirements and Essential Functions:

• PERSONALLY, DEMONSTRATE THE CUSTOMER NEEDS ARE THE HIGHEST PRIORITY.
• ENSURE FOOD SAFETY, QUALITY AND ACCURACY OF ORDERS.
• RESOLVE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS QUICKLY WHILE MAINTAINING POSITIVE CUSTOMER RELATIONS.
• DEMONSTRATES A POSITIVE AND ENTHUSIASTIC ATTITUDE WITH CO-WORKERS.
• TAKES ACTION WITHOUT BEING TOLD, GOES BEYOND WHAT IS SIMPLY REQUIRED AND MAINTAINS A HIGH ACTIVITY LEVEL.

• MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK CRITERIA AND DRUG TEST.
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
• ABLE TO OVERSEE AND MANAGE SUBORDINATE EMPLOYEES AND PROVIDE DIRECTION.
• ABLE TO perform basis cleaning tasks in THE RESTAURANT.
• ABLE TO TOLERATE STANDING, WALKING, LIFTING UP TO 50 LBS. AND STOOPING DURING 90% OF SHIFT TIME.
