Job summary

Holland America-Princess (Holland America Dawson City Inn) Sitka seeks a T&D Systems Manager to oversee design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the transmission and distribution system, including overhead, underground, and underwater lines, metering, and related equipment for reliable power delivery.

Qualifications

• Option 1 requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering with electrical emphasis and seven years of engineering/project management experience.
• Option 2 requires a High School diploma/GED plus Journeyman Lineman certification and seven years of Lineman experience, plus five years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, engineering design, maintenance, and repair of all transmission and distribution facilities.
• Design transmission and distribution facilities for overhead and underground lines; coordinate with existing electric system.
• Develop capital improvement plans, budgets, and project scopes, timelines, and risk assessments.
• Manage and train staff, supervise units, and ensure safety compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Prepare RFPs/SOWs, oversee contracts, and ensure project delivery within scope and budget.
