Job summary

Irby Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Transmission and Distribution construction projects from initiation through closeout. You will lead teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all phases.

You will coordinate with clients, field operations, and corporate support, delivering detailed documentation, progress reports, and successful project milestones on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in powerline or electrical utility construction.
• Proven experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors in T&D or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of assigned projects, including cost control, scheduling, materials, and manpower.
• Oversee project execution from pre-construction through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
• Track budgets, forecast costs, and ensure adherence to financial goals.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement, contracts, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders to maintain project alignment and resolve issues.
