Job summary

Irby Construction Company, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing T&D power line projects. You will handle schedules, costs, documentation, and field coordination to ensure project success.

The role offers exposure to engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, safety, and project administration, with significant travel and multi-project responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Experience in engineering, design, construction, estimating, scheduling, bidding, or project management is helpful.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing transmission and distribution power line projects.
• Develop initial project schedules with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate daily activities with field crews and update stakeholders.
• Support safety planning and incident reporting.
• Track costs and support budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare meeting notes and follow-up items.
