Job summary

The L.E. Myers Co. is seeking an experienced T&D Estimator I to prepare cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects. The role requires analyzing drawings, sourcing vendor pricing, and coordinating with customers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.

Based in the United States, the estimator will participate in field walks, pre-bid meetings, and may travel for site visits to support accurate estimations and timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience or relevant construction experience.
• Proficient in analyzing construction and electrical drawings to craft an estimate.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects.
• Develop complex estimates with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Solicit vendor pricing and assemble RFQ/RFP packages.
• Prepare billing per customer requirements and manage change orders.
• Schedule field walks and pre-bid meetings as needed.
• Participate in estimate reviews with stakeholders.
