The T&D Estimator prepares cost estimates for transmission, distribution, and substation projects, evaluating bid specs and drawings to ensure competitive bids, profitability, and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience for an Estimator I
• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience for an Estimator II
• Minimum 10 years of electrical construction estimating experience for a Senior Estimator

Responsibilities

• Complete cost estimates for assigned projects, with definable work tasks for transmission, distribution and substation projects
• Develop complex estimates with minor errors/omissions
• Lead estimate review process with internal and external stake holders
• Lead the estimating team and manage bidding activities
• Attend on-site pre-bid meetings and perform job site visits
