MYR Group Inc. and our family of specialty electrical construction companies are seeking skilled T&D Estimators to join our growing team across locations nationwide in the United States.

This posting represents an ongoing talent pipeline for T&D Estimator roles, with rolling applications and no deadline. The T&D Estimator prepares cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects, leads bid activities, and coordinates with suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Proficient in understanding construction and electrical drawings to formulate an estimate.
• Knowledgeable of electrical materials and installation methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements.
• Self-driven and able to work independently as part of a team.
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects.
• Lead estimate review processes with stakeholders.
• Develop complex estimates with accuracy and as per bid specs.
• Identify suppliers and solicit pricing.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and field walks.
