Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking skilled T&D Estimators to join our growing team across locations nationwide.

This role focuses on preparing cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects, reviewing bid specs and drawings, and leading the estimating effort for bids. Ideal candidates have extensive electrical construction estimating experience, ability to develop complex estimates, and strong collaboration with internal teams to win competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience for an Estimator I
• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience for an Estimator II
• Minimum 10 years of electrical construction estimating experience for a Senior Estimator
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Complete cost estimates for assigned projects, with definable work tasks for transmission, distribution and substation projects
• Develop complex estimates with minor errors/omissions
• Lead estimate review process with internal and external stake holders
• Lead the estimating team and manage bidding activities
• Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy
