Job summary

MYR Group, Inc. is seeking skilled T&D Estimators to join our nationwide team.

The role focuses on preparing cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects, evaluating bid specs and drawings, and leading bid activities to ensure competitive outcomes. Essential functions include developing complex estimates, leveraging past bidding history, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and guiding the Estimating team while maintaining schedule integrity and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience for an Estimator I
• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience for an Estimator II
• Minimum 10 years of electrical construction estimating experience for a Senior Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects.
• Develop complex estimates with minor errors/omissions.
• Lead estimate review process with internal and external stake holders.
• Lead the estimating team and manage bidding activities.
• Support other Estimators with bidding activities and training.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
