Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking a T&D Associate Estimator I to help develop cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects. The role includes field walks, take-offs, and collaboration with customers and subcontractors.

You will participate in the estimate review process, prepare or assist changes, and support the project lifecycle with accurate cost data. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Understand construction drawings, specifications, proposals to prepare time/cost/labor estimates for projects.
• Experience taking-offs and evaluating documents for RFQ/RFP packages.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Willingness to travel for field visits and pre-bid meetings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist in preparing complete cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects.
• Plan work to meet submission deadlines and attend field job walks with customers and vendors.
• Assist in RFQ/RFP package assembly and vendor/subcontractor pricing collection.
• Participate in estimate reviews and support project lifecycle cost tracking.
• Assist in change orders, job close-out meetings and ensure compliance with policies.
