Job summary

ImmunEdge in Redwood City, CA, is seeking a Scientist specialized in T cell biology to join our Cellular Pharmacology team. The role offers ownership of research questions from conception through analysis, with emphasis on primary human immune cells and multicolor flow cytometry.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in immunology or related field and has 0–3 years postdoc/industry experience, with strong independence in designing experiments and interpreting data in a fast-paced, early-stage setting.

Qualifications

• PhD in immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, or related discipline with independent research track.
• 0–3 years postdoc or industry experience (postdoc welcome but not required).
• Experience isolating/maintaining primary human immune cells and cell lines.
• Experience developing/executing T cell functional assays and TDCC.
• Proficiency with immunoassays and flow cytometry.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, optimize, and troubleshoot in vitro T cell and myeloid assays using primary human immune cells.
• Contribute to screening/characterization workflows and established assays.
• Communicate findings in internal forums and external venues as appropriate.
• Support IND-enabling studies with high-quality data and documentation.
• Mentor associate-level scientists in experimental design and data interpretation.
• Operate effectively in a fast-moving, small team.
