Job summary

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) in Helena is seeking an IT Systems Support 2 to analyze, design, execute, and support user acceptance testing across multiple IT projects, including eligibility and benefit management systems.

The role develops test cases from software requirements, reviews data logic, and serves as the first contact for system issues, providing end-user support in a public-service environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• One year of experience in a public assistance environment with SNAP/TANF/Medicaid.
• Experience testing CHIMES EA or similar eligibility data systems.
• Knowledge of testing best practices and testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, execute, and support user acceptance testing.
• Develop, plan, and implement test cases from software requirements.
• Serve as first point of contact for system issues and provide end user support.
• Oversee testing across overlapping software development lifecycles.
