Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking a Senior Technical Test Analyst to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives for complex applications in a Medicaid environment. The ideal candidate will create and validate UAT test cases, analyze software issues, and perform integration testing. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Eligibility, Medicaid, or HHS IT projects.
• At least 3 years supporting mid-scale or large-scale system development projects.
• 3+ years creating and executing detailed test scripts aligned with business requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years for creating and executing detailed test scripts including test automation, test strategy development, test planning, and test execution.

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, execute, and evaluate UAT test cases.
• Analyze issues in software, document defects, support root cause analysis.
• Review UAT test cases from internal teams and partners.
• Perform interface testing with external partners.
• Extract and manipulate test data for test execution.
• Verify integration points across batch processes, data interfaces, and data flows.
• Execute data conversion testing and validate accuracy of data insertion, extraction, and transformation.
• Conduct peer reviews of test execution results and documentation.
• Support Beta/Pilot and Parallel testing activities as required.
• Perform other testing and QA-related tasks as assigned.

The Senior Technical Test Analyst will support large-scale enterprise initiatives by leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for complex applications and services.

This role requires strong experience with integration testing, data validation, ETL processes, and data conversion testing.

The analyst will collaborate closely with internal teams and vendor partners to ensure high-quality outcomes for modernization and operational enhancement projects within a Medicaid or Health and Human Services (HHS) environment.

The ideal candidate can work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, validate, execute, and evaluate UAT test cases based on requirement and design documents.
• Analyze issues in software or services, document defects, track resolution, and support root cause analysis.
• Review UAT test cases created by internal teams and partner organizations.
• Perform interface testing with external partners, ensuring complete requirements coverage.
• Extract, create, and manipulate test data to support test execution.
• Verify integration points across batch processes, data interfaces, and data flows.
• Execute data conversion testing and validate accuracy of data insertion, extraction, and transformation.
• Conduct peer reviews of test execution results and documentation.

Required Qualifications
