Job summary

Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is seeking an IT Systems Support 2 to analyze, design, execute, and support user acceptance testing across multiple IT projects, including eligibility and benefits management systems. This role develops test cases, researches data, and provides end-user support while coordinating testing across lifecycles.

The qualified candidate will have knowledge of SDLC, UAT methods, and public assistance programs like TANF, SNAP and Medicaid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as information technology and human services.
• One year of experience in a public assistance field working with SNAP, TANF and Medicaid programs.
• Prior testing experience in CHIMES EA or other similar eligibility data system.
• Other equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Preferred experience with CHIMES EA, JIRA, and JAMA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement test cases based on software requirements.
• Research ad hoc files, and review data and reporting logic.
• Serves as the first point of contact for any system issues and provides end user systems support.
• Oversee execution in overlapping software development lifecycles.
