Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Clearfield, UT, is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to design, execute, and manage test and evaluation plans for RVA programs. You will create test cases, scripts, and protocols, collaborating with systems engineers and developers to identify defects and drive fixes.

BS in STEM with experience, or MS with no experience, as well as US citizenship and DoD Secret clearance, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s Degree with 0 years experience.
• Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of system integration and test principles and processes.
• Basic Knowledge of systems engineering principles including requirement decomposition and allocation of requirements.
• Experience with development of test plans, procedures, and reports (functional testing and checkout).

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive test and evaluation plans to ensure systems, equipment, and software meet government requirements and specifications.
• Design and implement test protocols, create test cases and scripts, and conduct hands-on testing to identify defects and anomalies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine test plans with system engineers and developers to troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze test data, report results, and provide recommendations for system improvement in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Apply test engineering principles and methodologies to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
