Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Rocket Center, WV, is seeking a Test Engineer Level 1/2 with a CS/Engineering background to support our defense systems on-site. You will review test designs, maintain deployed equipment, monitor health, and evaluate hardware obsolescence.

You will apply DAS software, MATLAB and Excel macros, with opportunities to improve processes and calibration techniques. A Secret clearance is not required at hire but eligible; US citizenship is a prerequisite for clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science required for Level 1/2.
• Knowledge of test instrumentation and transducers.
• Understanding of PID control systems.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance with US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify static rocket motor test designs and methodologies.
• Monitor equipment and assess health and obsolescence.
• Evaluate hardware and software improvements; support DAS and MATLAB processing.
• Perform electrical schematic reviews and calibration technique knowledge.
