Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal RF Electrical Engineer to support the RVA program in Clearfield, UT. You will design, develop, test, and maintain RF systems, antennas, and related equipment for government missions, collaborating across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications include a STEM degree with multiple years of relevant experience, strong RF theory knowledge, CAD/analysis capabilities, and excellent technical writing. A DoD Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience; Master's with 3 years; PhD with 1 year.
Proficiency with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and understanding of RF theory.
Experience with RF hardware testing, design and analysis; full lifecycle RF system development.
Ability to read engineering drawings and document technical results clearly.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain RF systems and antennas.
Perform RF analyses, simulations, and testing to validate designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.
Develop and maintain design specifications, technical reports, and test plans.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
