Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT seeks a Test Engineering Manager 3 to lead Lab operations and drive centralization across BU labs. You will coordinate with programs, suppliers and customers to accelerate execution and ensure compliant processes.

Required BS/MS in STEM with 8+ years IPT/program mgmt experience for US Govt contracts, active DoD Secret clearance, CAM with EVMS, and experience leading large projects. The role demands strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 8+ years IPT/program management experience for US Government contracts, or Masters with 6+ years, or 4 extra years in lieu of degree.
• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with ability to obtain SAP approval.
• At least 1 year experience as a certified CAM proficient in EVMS.
• At least 1 year experience in managing large scale-projects and project integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BU as the Labs subject matter expert for the Test and Production Operations organization.
• Own BU Labs Centralization, including integration with BU programs, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders as required.
• Coordinate across multiple lab teams to drive accelerated execution, standardization, removal of constraints, and compliance across BU labs.
• Lead effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks, teams, and efforts.
• Develop, implement, and maintain lab process controls for the BU.
• Ensure lab schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated and are properly resourced for successful execution.
• Coordinate and communicate technical execution, risks, and mitigation plans to cross-discipline teams, government customers, and program leadership.
• Provide lab expertise in support of future business opportunities.
