Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a dedicated test engineer to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for complex systems. You’ll collaborate with multiple engineering teams, align on test objectives, and ensure instrumentation and data collection support the hardware-in-the-loop lab requirements.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and a strong background in system integration and test principles, with effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience with system integration and test principles.
• Excellent communication and ability to interface with all levels of staff.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration across engineering teams.
• Experience developing, plan, and executing test plans and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer contractual needs and translate them into test solutions considering schedule and cost constraints.
• Direct and prepare comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts and test teams to identify objectives and risks.
• Support development of instrumentation requirements for Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.
• Oversee test activities and approve test start and break configurations.
