Job summary

Qualifications

Two-year electronics degree or equivalent education with 1–3 years related field experience.
Working knowledge of communications systems; VoIP, telephony, data networks.
Experience with wireless data, fire alarm, CCTV, sound systems, or nurse call apps preferred.
Cisco and Microsoft certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

Complete final hookup and programming of electronics equipment for new jobs.
Respond to service-related issues promptly.
Test and document readings for customer systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electronic components.
Handle on-call duties on a regular schedule.
Train customers on proper use of equipment.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Operate test equipment: Volt Meter, Ohm Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Multimeter, and Impedance Meter.
Assist with preventive maintenance of customer equipment.
Track time sheets, service/installation tickets and inventory.
Maintain full compliance with safety programs.
Other duties as required or assigned by management.
