Rex Moore, a long-standing electrical contractor, seeks a Systems Technician to install and service low voltage systems while ensuring compliance with electrical codes. The role emphasizes hands-on installation, testing, and coordination with foremen and technicians.

Qualifications

• Holds current Fire Life Safety card.
• Holds current ACE card.
• Demonstrates proficiency in fire alarm, security, access control and surveillance products and services.
• Effective communication with managers, foremen, general contractors and customers.
• Strong initiative and organized workflow throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Program, commission and start-up low voltage systems (fire alarm, security, access control, surveillance).
• Install and test low voltage devices, wiring and rough-in.
• Supervise and train helpers, installers, telecom techs or electricians.
• Instruct staff on tool operation, safety, and technical principles.
• Complete assignment paperwork accurately and timely.
