Job summary

Waxahachie ISD Technology is seeking a Technology Technician I to provide technical support to district staff and students. This role includes assisting with hardware, software applications, and peripherals, via phone or remote access, and resolving issues in classrooms and labs.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED (A+ preferred) and familiarity with Windows operating systems. Dell repair certification is a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions from callers and walk-ins; remotely assist staff with technology problems in classrooms and labs.
• Fulfill work orders and re-assign as needed.
• Document, tracks, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
• Update hardware/software listings on district resources site.
