Job summary
Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Systems Support Specialist III for remote and onsite support in the MA-NH-RI marketplace. You will troubleshoot complex networks, connectivity, systems, and applications while performing root-cause analysis to resolve issues.
Remote and on-site repairs are required, with periodic travel to sites. The role offers opportunities to grow within a global technology organization and participate in a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in a combination of networking systems, systems support, interfaces, connectivity, and related software.
- Knowledgeable in the hardware and software industry.
- Comfortable with installation and upgrades to network systems/equipment.
- Prior experience with multifunctional devices is required. Applicable Network certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform root cause analysis of presented problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex systems problems in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Monitor systems regularly to accept and/or reject network site surveys present and take appropriate action.
- Perform confirmation tests as directed.
- Work with customers to resolve technical issues.
- Interface heavily with customer IT personnel.
