Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Systems Support Specialist III for the MA-NH-RI marketplace, with remote and onsite responsibilities. You will troubleshoot complex network, connectivity, systems, and application problems to keep customer environments running smoothly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least five years in networking, systems support, or related software. Travel to sites is required; a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in networking systems, systems support, interfaces, connectivity, and related software.
• Knowledgeable in the hardware and software industry.
• Comfortable with installation and upgrades to network systems/equipment.
• Prior experience with multifunctional devices is required; network certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis of presented problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex systems problems in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Monitor systems regularly to accept and/or reject network site surveys and take appropriate action.
• Perform confirmation tests as directed.
• Work with customers to resolve technical issues.
• Interface heavily with customer IT personnel.
