Job summary

The Office of Information Services at the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services seeks an experienced Systems Support & Eligibility Manager. You will lead the SETS‑R modernization, bridging legacy mainframe knowledge with cloud technologies, and oversee a team responsible for enterprise applications in a cloud‑hosted C#/.NET and SQL environment.

You will guide architecture, ensure security and scalability, mentor staff, and collaborate with ODJFS partners to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate core coursework in computer science or equivalent.
• AND 18 mos. exp. in performing project management functions as defined in series purpose.
• AND 6 1/2 years (78 mos.) exp. commensurate with job duties to be performed & knowledges & skills required as outlined in approved position description.

Responsibilities

• Leading and overseeing the SETS‑R development team and delivering high‑quality enterprise applications.
• Driving modernization using C#, .NET, MS SQL, and Azure with a focus on security, performance, and scalability.
• Mentoring staff through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
