Nationwide IT Services, Inc. is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to support a DoD modernization program. You will design, develop, modernize, integrate, and sustain enterprise applications using .NET, C#, React, REST APIs, and modern DevSecOps practices.

The role requires security clearances, DoD 8140 baseline, and Azure certification; you''ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions across SDLC, testing, and deployment.

Competenze

• Minimum of five years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience with .NET Framework, C#, REST APIs, React, Git, and dependency injection.
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, testing, debugging, and maintaining enterprise software applications.
• Experience supporting software development lifecycle activities, modernization, and technical documentation.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• At least one Microsoft Azure certification: AZ-204, AZ-305, or AZ-400.
• DoD 8140 baseline certification.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, modernize, integrate, and sustain enterprise software applications supporting DoD mission.
• Provide SDLC engineering support including requirements analysis, architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment.
• Develop and maintain applications using .NET Framework, C#, React, ADO.NET, and DI.
• Support modernization of legacy apps to modern .NET architectures and cloud environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs for secure data exchange.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance functionality, performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in Agile software development activities.
• Support DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• Conduct unit and integration testing and QA activities.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards and secure development practices.
