Job summary

Qualifications

• AA/AS required.
• 8+ years of IT systems experience.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration.
• Active Directory, GPO, and identity/access management experience.
• Experience with virtualization platforms and/or cloud services.
• Strong troubleshooting across OS, apps, and networking.
• Knowledge of backup/restore solutions and disaster recovery concepts.
• Understanding security best practices and patch management.

Responsibilities

• System Administration & Maintenance: Monitor, manage, and maintain servers, OS, and key apps; apply patches; perform health checks; capacity planning.
• User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues; diagnose and resolve system, app, and network problems; manage user access.
• Implementation & Configuration: Install, configure, and deploy new systems/apps; assist in upgrades and migrations; document configurations.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure security controls, participate in audits and remediation.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Use monitoring tools to track performance; respond to incidents; prepare system health reports.
• Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work with IT teams on cross-functional projects; refine IT processes and documentation.
