Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced IT Systems Administrator with TS/SCI w/Poly clearance to support enterprise IT systems. You will manage server hardware, applications, and network components, implement patches, and coordinate security and configuration management efforts.

The role requires 15+ years of SA experience, ITIL 4, and ServiceNow expertise, with on-site responsibilities at the customer location in Maryland. US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Fifteen years of SA experience in programs of similar scope is required.
• Six years of experience with ITSM is required.
• ITIL 4 platform certification is required.
• Four years of experience with ServiceNow is required.
• Two years’ experience integrating ServiceNow with other applications is required.
• Security Clearance TS/SCI w/Poly is required.
• US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Supports day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
• Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Configures UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems and loads OS software.
• Implements security patches and maintains patch status in systems of record.
• Coordinates changes with ISSO/ISO as part of Change and Configuration Management.
