Albedo is hiring an IT & Security Engineer to own a broad surface including identity, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, network, and compliance. You will build internal tools, implement infrastructure as code, and run detection and response using Defender XDR and Sentinel.

Expect to work across domains, maintaining secure logging and audit-ready evidence. The role emphasizes rapid, high-leverage work, close collaboration with product and security teams, and on-site presence at the Broomfield, CO

Qualifications

• Six-plus years across IT operations, infrastructure, or security engineering, with at least two where you owned production systems.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate work and verify before shipping.
• Infrastructure as code is your default, and you own production code.

Responsibilities

• Own the systems the company runs on: identity, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, network, and compliance controls.
• Build internal tooling and automation to cover large surface with a small team.
• Own infrastructure as code in Terraform across AWS.
• Operate Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR for detection tuning and triage.
• Triage and remediate vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications.
• Own the Linux estate and network boundaries; ensure secure, auditable logging and evidence.
