Job summary

Space Systems Integration (SSI) is seeking a Space Cyber Security Engineer in Albuquerque, NM. The role provides technical leadership with an operational cybersecurity focus to protect critical space infrastructure and information systems for DoD customers.

The candidate will design, build, and integrate advanced space-ground cyber capabilities and work in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. Qualified candidates bring 10+ years of DoD/IC cybersecurity or related experience, with DoD program

Qualifications

Ten years of DoD/IC or relevant cybersecurity experience.
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees required.
Experience with Docker/containers, AWS & Azure.
Programming languages knowledge.
ISSE/ISSM experience in DoD/IC programs.
Knowledge of RMF and JSIG.
Active TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI and SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

Provide cybersecurity engineering support to project teams.
Perform security assessments and develop remediation options.
Engage in engineering activities to achieve cyber mission effects.
Develop or employ cybersecurity tools in DoD architectures.
Synthesize intelligence and scan results into actionable reports.
Advise government customers on risks to performance, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate with partners to ensure cybersecurity policy adherence while meeting milestones.
