Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Staff Enterprise Security Engineer to architect, deploy, and manage advanced threat detection and incident response configurations. You will directly contribute to securing our spacecraft modeling and simulation software while protecting critical systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, applying expertise in SIEM, vulnerability management, and security operations to safeguard cloud and on‑prem assets and ensure ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information security with a focus on security engineering.
• Experience with enterprise tech across on-prem and SaaS.
• Strong understanding of vulnerabilities and exploitation.
• Proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners and endpoint protection.
• Programming knowledge in Python, Elixir, C, or Rust.
• CISSP/CISM/CISA or equivalents desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments.
• Own security hardening for enterprise and corporate systems.
• Provide SME for enterprise security.
• Participate in on-call rotation for security events.
• Recommend and implement security for cloud and on-prem assets.
• Identify deficiencies and improve the security program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security in SDLC.
• Monitor security logs (SIEMs, IDS/IPS) and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain security policies and guidelines.
• Stay updated on threats and technologies.
• Support stakeholders on compliance and security best practices.
• Participate in change management and risk reviews.
