Job summary

Space Systems Integration seeks a Space Cyber Security Engineer in Albuquerque, NM to provide cybersecurity engineering support for DoD/IC programs and safeguard space infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in cyber operations, TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility, experience with Docker, AWS, Azure, and RMF/JSP guidelines, and the ability to lead risk assessments on complex space systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years DoD/IC or relevant industry experience in computer network operations or cybersecurity/information assurance.
• Active TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI is required, along with SCI eligibility and Continuous Evaluation.
• DoD/IC programs experience as an ISSE and/or ISSM.
• Working knowledge of Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) and RMF frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity engineering support to assigned project teams.
• Perform security assessments and develop remediation options.
• Conduct engineering activities to attain cyber mission effects.
• Develop or deploy cybersecurity tools within DoD architectures.
• Synthesize intelligence and scan results into actionable reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with government customers and partners to ensure policy adherence while meeting milestones.
