Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Safety Engineer in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel program. The role involves use case development, requirements allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and traceability.

Key duties include collaborating with program IPTs to produce engineering artifacts, maturing architecture content for large programs, and ensuring requirements are properly represented in models.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years of experience, or Master's with 0 years.
• 2 years' experience with C/C++, Java, OO design, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop engineering artifacts.
• Develop and mature architecture content for large programs.
• Ensure system requirements are properly represented in the model.
• Contribute to system requirements development, management and analysis.
• Develop unifying model techniques, procedures and processes.
