Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Systems Safety Engineer in Roy, Utah, to support the Sentinel program. The role involves system safety, requirements allocation, MBSE modeling, and collaboration with engineering teams. A Secret clearance is required, with 9/80 work schedule and potential relocation assistance.

Responsibilities include safety artifact development, hazard analyses, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure flight-worthiness of complex systems.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with active Secret clearance.
• Experience with MIL-STD-882E or similar hardware/software processes.
• 1 year’s experience in OO design (C/C++, Java).
• Familiarity with system safety analyses and hazard analysis.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with program teams to develop engineering artifacts and safety documentation.
• Contribute to system safety analyses for flight-worthiness of complex systems.
• Support requirements allocation, modeling, and MBSE activities.
• Assist in development and review of SSPP, PHA, FHA, SHA/SSHA artifacts.
