Key Responsibilities

  • Develop complex PowerShell scripts to automate technical, administrative, reporting, or production-related activities.
  • Review, troubleshoot, and correct PowerShell scripts developed by other technical team members.
  • Create statistical reports covering data collection, filtering, processing, review, analytics, and production activities.
  • Manage user-support and help-desk functions for litigation applications and technical services.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user documentation, training materials, and operating procedures.
  • Oversee the deployment and support of applications used by established user groups.
  • Manage Windows-based systems, browser-based applications, databases, servers, storage, and available system capacity.
  • Support configuration management, risk analysis, disaster recovery, and business-continuity planning.
  • Ensure that system, application, and data-security requirements are properly implemented and maintained.
  • Monitor emerging eDiscovery technologies and recommend improvements to tools, processes, and technical workflows.
  • Ensure that technical deliverables meet functional requirements, quality standards, security requirements, and established deadlines.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, professional development, and performance management of technical employees.

Required Qualifications

  • At least six years of first-line management experience supervising technical personnel.
  • Extensive experience working in an eDiscovery or litigation-support environment.
  • Strong understanding of the litigation discovery process and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model, or EDRM.
  • Hands-on experience administering RelativityOne workspaces throughout the complete workspace lifecycle.
  • Experience managing complex litigation productions involving load-ready data, searchable PDF files, native files, metadata, and production quality control.
  • Demonstrated experience developing complex PowerShell scripts.
  • Ability to review, troubleshoot, and correct PowerShell scripts created by other technical staff.
  • Hands-on experience installing, configuring, operating, and supporting Windows-based systems and applications.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining browser-based applications.
  • Experience establishing or managing user-support and help-desk services.
  • Experience developing or deploying applications to an established user community.
  • Experience managing technical priorities, resolving escalated issues, and delivering work under strict deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, case managers, technical employees, and project leadership.
  • Strong systems-analysis, technical-leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to technical quality control.
