Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Systems Integrator III to design, develop, and commission electrical control systems, focusing on PLC/HMI integration for renewable energy applications. This role collaborates with engineering teams to ensure compatibility and substation efficiency.

You will travel up to 35% and advance automation concepts while adhering to safety standards, including NERC CIP, under supervision or independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with electrical/control systems and automation concepts.
• Experience with PLC programming and HMI design; proficiency in ladder logic or similar languages.
• Experience designing/troubleshooting fiber optic networks.
• Ability to read schematics including single-line diagrams and P&Cs.
• Experience with HMI design, development, and commissioning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel 25-35% of the time; valid driver's license; US work authorization.

Responsabilités

• Create, maintain, and interpret electrical schematics and project docs.
• Design/integrate PLC and HMI systems for renewable energy automation.
• Handle substation integration: protection relays, RTACs, networks.
• Lead, test, and troubleshoot electrical control systems.
• On-site field commissioning: install, power up, troubleshoot networks.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders for project success.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and safety (NERC CIP).
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and programming techniques.
