Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Senior Systems Integrator to design, develop, and commission complex electrical control systems, integrating PLC and HMI for efficient operation. You will mentor engineering teams to ensure system compatibility and enhance substation efficiency.

The role requires advanced PLC/HMI experience, multiple programming languages, and travel 25–35% with a focus on safety and industry standards, including NERC CIP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in electrical control systems and automation.
• Proficient PLC programming and HMI design across multiple languages.
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols and substation tech.

Responsibilities

• Review schematics and documentation, mentoring junior team members.
• Design and integrate PLC/HMI for renewable automation applications.
• Integrate substation devices and protective relays with networks.
• Lead testing, refine control systems, and troubleshoot field issues.
• Oversee on-site commissioning, installation, and network troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for project success.
• Help team learn new technologies and adhere to safety standards.
